Yes *____* I watched the first season maybe half a year ago or so, and been pumped up for 2nd season ever since (only couple of more days!!). I wanted to start reading the books as soon as I'd watched it, but didn't have time and I have terrible issue with ugly book covers, and ASOIAF books just look awful, no matter how good the content is:C I borrowed the first volume from a friend recently though, and I love it, made me see some of the characters in a bit different perspective without making the show look bad. I love both books and the show ah.

Gah, I have the same issue with the book covers. And why are the few hardcover books expensive old/limited editions? :C Also, I don't want to buy a boxed set before all 7 (or even more) books have been published. (I just hope I will live long enough.)
