I did a color eye test for graphic designer online some months ago and I did worst with green colors, so I guess I'm trying to befriend green.

I really like this. :)

The squarish pattern reminds me of Sonic3, which is an aspect I really enjoy:

Oh I love the square.. brush I guess? Or the marquee tool? I remember they had a craze with painting like that on sijun a few years ago : D Also reminds me of sword and sworcery. I like the temperature shift from the cold sky and trees to the warm water, though feels like you could have played with it even more and have the bounce light coming off the water onto the bottom of the tree-bushes on the left there be warm aswell, though I suppose that might start mixing with the yellow on the wall of the building so maybe I'm just rambling.

I had some problems with the tree on the left, and it looks bit different from the rest of the picture. But yeah! I used marquee tool for most of the stuff, and polygonal lasso, and couple of default brushes to fill the selections. I used photography reference, so I tried to keep the light atmosphere the same, and it looks rather subtle to me in the original photo, with not too strong reflections.

Thanks! 2,5 hours I think, it didn't took that much time since I had direct photograph reference at hand.

Nyt on pakko kysyä - oletko pelannut Sword & Sworcerya? Tekniikkasi tässä muistuttaa niin kovin kyseisen pelin grafiikkaa. Vallan ihastuttava!

Ja pakko vielä lisätä, näin monen monen monen vuoden seuraamisen jälkeen, että olet kyllä uskomattoman taitava - et toista itseäsi, mutta omaat uniikin tyylin sekä osaat aina luoda uutta töihisi. En voi muuta kuin kateellisena inspiroitua jokaisesta teoksesta mitä tänne uppaat! :)
