After playing Okami for days I can't help but feel inspired.
So pardon the nippon overdose.

I wanted to paint a rooster because I particularly liked the rooster zodiac in the game, although my version hopefully doesn't look like the same :'3 if really like rooster at all, who needs references anyway...

I'm quite satisfied, considering I was about to give up in the beginning because every step felt like a huge mistake :D stupid inks. In the end, it turned out all good~

~muhvu scanned it for me and this needed to be scanned in 3-4 parts, so there's still some blurry spots but it can't be helped.

It's no particular character from any mythology, but here I think she is some Sun goddess of a sort, summoning the rising Sun. And thanks!

OooooOOOooh... so pretty and flowy and feathery... I like how you draw the flowy parts so similar to the feathers on the bird, it's really nice continuity.
