I cheated a bit, and fashioned his outfit after the "Waltz with Vaati" picture. At one point I wanted to make a sheet of his design since I was so happy to hear that people were interested in cosplaying him and I was curious how would his design even work in real life. Instead, I made him part of this series.

It's just silly fan ideas I'm playing that I just made up while uploading, but why not! I made Zelda a northern warrior princess with a sword resembling the wind waker, along with her standard light bow and arrows. Therefore she's sort of like northern light, standing against the darkness alone. Vaati is the wind and the shadow, whatever his intention might be, but what kind of hero will become of Link, who wanders into the scene at some point? :D

I always thought of vaati not really as an evil type. He is a man enthralled by everything that is out of the ordinary. I think what he did he did more to see what would happen then actually accomplish something. I think his mind was set on: let's start something and see if things become fun

Aw man, you know I love any attention that the Minish Cap gang gets, and it's exciting to see Vaati in this style! Y'know I kept looking at this picture since you've uploaded it and I just now saw the eye across his robe and just about crapped my pants. Such a cool detail!

Aaa thanks ;; I wish more Zelda fans would play Minish Cap, it's really fun game. I still haven't beaten the last boss though, not only is it challenging to just keep alive because of so many stages of Vaati but man I can't figure out what to do with his last-last stage :'D
