pretty messed up, but I really just wanted to paint something before going to bed. and you can totally see the amano-effect.
Witch who so hard fought to prove her honest desire to help people, now stands at peak of her popularity, as people suffering from unknown plague plead for her help. Each treatment has their wicked cost.
Oh, okay I used Ink, watercolor, gold ink and white gel pen/paint marker, but I'm pretty sure white gouache will do just as well. I might've used some waterbased felt-tips at first, but applied water to it so it looks like watercolor in any case. I think I painted it at first just with black ink, water and brush, and applied color and white over it, when I wasn't happy with just b&w. It was rather experimental technique based on intuition and despair XD
I love gold ink, but it's easy to get carried away with it, it's really thick once applied to a painting you can't paint over it. I failed miserably with the quetzacoatl painting I made because I applied gold so much and it didn't look good, but I can't paint over it with watercolors (gouache, maybe.)
In this painting I didn't directly paint with gold ink, I just splashed it over the picture from distance, ended up glittering up my workspace with gold as well :'D
haha wow that's does sound you experimented alot! at first I was thinking you used acrylic here since the colors looked so thick *A* so you mostly used wet felt-tips for most of the colors? O:
haha I wouldn't mind if my workplace would be sparkling after : D as long as it wont stick to me
Sometimes stories come up as I draw, but I do often just make up short stories that I want to illustrate, these latest two deviations at least have been such. I often try to save ideas for comics, but I'm little unexperienced and worried about my skills when it comes to comics so it's easier to illustrate ideas as pieces <:
